welcome to venice
one of Chanel's most exciting cruise collection yet - melancholic, playful and extremely european. the impeccable collection was showcased here on sentosa island mid this month. definitely a nice ambient setting to stage clothes that were heavily inspired by venetian art. the shoes, bags and chunky statement jewellery, all i absolutely adore. however, not every piece was flown in and everything else was slightly disappointing.

i die. Christopher Bailey, you made my entire week!
upon meeting, he was extremely warm, refined and chatty. i was nervous silly to my guts. of course, i couldnt resist not telling him how much i loved S/S2010 for both his men's and women's collection. it was cleverly executed and well thought about. so original. he was truly appreciative, and kept smiling throughout our pleasant conversation! it's still rather surreal that i was within his presence. in-sane.

It's never too late to embrace one's lack of thereof, and still feel absolutely sane on their special day. Because there is no cure for any age, we should overlook remedies that no longer work and welcome any two digits into our lives with big open arms! Last weekend, we celebrated the best friend's twenty first down at Woods, Dempsey with flowers, ballons, champs and a very tummy friendly fudge cake. An evening spoiled against nature, dinner was set in a cozy, dimly-lit ambience with a fantastic company to boot!
Alfred, you are all matured and ready to delve and experience the world's gifts! Enjoy your personal discovery into the universe. Don't ever lose that wonder and never dare yourself to hold back. Again, Happy 21st! Live, love, be!

21 candles;
the lovely evening at le bistrot started with pours and pours of booze, followed by duck rillettes, cheese choux pastry and tiger prawns drowned in gazpacho just to name the favourited few. initimate conversations and laughter filled the room under suspended lightbulbs while the food and drinks flowed throughout the night. it wasnt about the generous presents, but the presence of closed ones and the stylish bees. everyone who turned up was there to celebrate my coming of age, my key to adulthood, my big 21st! for age is mind over matter. well if you dont mind, then it doesnt matter! truly, life has just begun to accelerate in endless directions.
thank you all for making the evening so special, my best birthday yet.
